Sidney “Tanker” Harris, affectionately known as Tanker to everyone he meets, brings more than 19 years of plumbing experience and more than 30 years of septic experience to the team. He is our fully licensed and insured Responsible Master Plumber, holds an LP gas license, and is a licensed Septic Installer II—allowing Tanker’s to install and work on septic systems as well as plumbing.
A dedicated, hard-working leader, Tanker is an integral part of the office team and works alongside the technical team in the field every day. He has earned his reputation by doing honest work with integrity, treating people fairly, and taking seriously the responsibility that comes with being the company’s name and face.
Tanker never cuts corners. He values efficiency, friendliness, and competency, takes pride in every job, and holds every team member to the same high standard. To Tanker, plumbing is not simply fixing a leak or clearing a clog—it is building lifelong relationships and making sure customers know they can trust his entire team with their health and safety.
Family legacy
In loving memory of Floyd Harris Sr.
Tanker learned to operate heavy machinery—and everything he knows about septic installation—from his beloved Pops, Floyd Harris Sr. Before passing away in 2022, Floyd brought his knowledge, skill, and humor to the company and completed three generations of Harris men working together at Tanker’s Plumbing & Septics. He is missed daily.
